I just wanted to make sure, but if I install the 19.04 beta from say today and do apt update/upgrades daily, will get me to the final release version come 04/18? Or will I need to do any other special commands?

Thanks.

Yep - that’s all you need to-do. Just keep on updating and you will eventually see - in the very last week - the “alpha” or “Beta” status changed to release.
