I seem to have 2 file managers, probably due to installing Qogir a while back from github.
How do I remove either one?
guessing one is nautilus and one is nemo
sudo apt purge nemo
or
sudo apt purge nautilus
Do check what packages are going to be uninstalled before pressing “y” to confirm.

The left was nautilus, right was nemo. For 19.10 we moved to Nemo no?
correct - nemo - this also installs nemo-desktop that provides the desktop icons capability.
