Hello there. I have a black screen after initial system setup on Dell G3. Assume nvidia drivers in use (chooses “install proprietary drivers” at setup metu). Don’t know what permissions on home folder. Can’t even switch between tty. And it’s stuck (mouse, keyboard) with some period of time. Can’t even reboot or shutdown laptop after live usb session or in login screen
Please whilst you are booting into the live session edit the grub entry to have “nomodeset” - you can also remove the “quiet splash” entry as well.
This will make it easier to see where it gets stuck during the boot sequence.
BTW what version of UB are you attempting to boot?
