What happened to the Books directory in 18.04? Has that been removed from this latest build?
Not familiar with the books directory.
Are you referring to gnome-books that was in 16.04 budgie remix. We dropped that as a default install a few versions back. Gnome-books is available in the repositories to install if you wish.
I guess it must have come from 16.04, because I upgraded to 17.10 and it was still there. This time I did a clean install and it was missing. It was a blue book icon which archived all ebooks in one directory called “books”
I am not sure if it is google books, as that seems to be linked to goodreads
