Are there any instructions on how to add 2FA to my desktop login? I know how to do it on ssh login but want the desktop also protected.

to be honest I have never even thought about 2FA for the desktop-login. I guess I’ve always associated security via whole disk encryption installation.
Anyway - does any of this help?
There is a Pam module to do this.
I have done it in the past using this specific tutorial.
There may be package differences (different version of Ubuntu), but should get you going.
