# Can't take screenshots

I press the screenshot button on my keyboard, UB makes a little ‘ding’ noise, but no screenshot appears in my /home folder (or my /home/picture folder, because I deleted that). Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Edit: I’ve found a workaround with the ubuntu-budgie-screenshot-applet.

Similar to this Q&A - instead of “Documents” I guess you use Pictures or whatever is similar in

`~/.config/user-dirs.dirs`
