Just installed Ubuntu Budgie, I love it so far, but it has a few quirks I’m trying to work out. I set up a tasklist applet in my panel, but the length of each task is too long to the point where I can’t see anything beyond my fifth window. Is there a way to configure the applet so each task can be shorter? I would also like to make the font a few points smaller just to save some extra space.

Thanks in advance

Not really. The upstream advice is to use the icon task list rather than the task list.
