Gdebi Issue Ubuntu Budgie 17

Hey everyone! this is my first time on Budgie i just fell in love with the desktop version so i have the tried the distro. :slight_smile:
Anyways i was trying to install some deb packages using Gdebi but when i click on install it just close the program and that’s it
any help?

Any clues if you use the command line equivalent of gdebi?

i.e.
sudo gdebi path/to/the/deb/file
