Apologies if this is a not a Ubuntu Budgie issue,but…
When I click on the unread messages in geary the sidepanel shows the banner(who the message is from), but it will not show the message itself.
Anyone else with this problem?

hmm … geary on 18.04 here seems to be working just fine - I have connected Geary to my gmail account.

Not sure how or why, but the problem has now self-resolved.
Maybe some kind of temporary glitch.
Geary is now working smoothly, no issues.
I have marked it ‘Solved’. Not sure if this is correct, as I am not sure I did anything to actively sort it out.
