I have had several version of Linux, I am running the latest update of Umbutu Budgie on a Dell Latitude Laptop It runs great except printing it mounts my print driver on Local Host, Which causes my Netgear router to not recognize the print request. I can find my router on the Network icon and it is correct, but in printer set up it always calls my wifi connection local host - not my LAN’s Name. I have never gotten a print job through to my Canon MX490 printer.

Hi and welcome,

this sounds more like a generic ubuntu issue that will apply to all flavours. As such [askubuntu.com](http://askubuntu.com) and [ubuntuforums.org](http://ubuntuforums.org) can also help
