# No sound to external speakers on HP Z2 G9 after install

Hi im new to Linux and had budgie installed by the vendor. Seems to run well but I cant get any sound out of external speakers. I’ve done everything I can think of in the Budgie Control Center/Sound section but nothing seems to get it going. All connections are wired. Under output there is only one option available “Line out-Builtin audio. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
