Qt Creator .pro file

Hi everyone. I have encountered a problem that the file .pro was detected as a text file. And so that its icon has been the txt icon, its default program has been Text editor. I want it automatically recognize my .pro file as a project file with Qt Creator icon. How can i do ? Thanks in advance.

  1. Select a select a .pro file .
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties.
  3. Select the Open With tab.
  4. Select the application you want and click Set as default .

when I chose Open with, there was no Qt app to select, I had to add it with command. But i found it did not seem like a default Qt app with “green icon”. Even though skip this, i try to change its icon to Qt icon but afterward when i created a new project, its icon has been back to the way it was.
