Hi,

sound device issues are generic to all ubuntu flavours.

The device experts who can help can be found on [ubuntuforums.org](http://ubuntuforums.org) / [askubuntu.com](http://askubuntu.com)

When submitting a issue on those forums please outline what you have done when following this troubleshooting guide. thx

Try running “alsamixer” from terminal. It should give you CLI sound control panel that will probably have some of the settings needed to make your sound card work normally.
