# Renders with GIMP

These sure are gonna make some perfect desktop backgrounds 😛 They’re all for fun (and the 20.04 wallpaper contest!!!)  
These are the best renders I could get… but then I’m not the best at GIMP 😛

They’re all 2845x1600. Not 4K, but can be upscaled to 4K if needed; still bigger then the default UB wallpaper as of 19.10.  
EDIT: I’ve made them again in 4K, see below post. Not the exact same, I removed the ones I didn’t like and tweaked them to look better…

Watch this! 4K versions 😛  
Not the exact same, I removed the ones I didn’t like and tweaked them to look better…  
Can’t upload most here because of 4K so linked to IMGUR posts. Feel free to compress, etc.

NOTE: This, and the Saturn rings one, are GIMP renders _using_ the colorscheme provided with the fractal, with only minor contrast/brightness/exposure edits.

Nope, but I can tell you how.  
Inside GIMP, you can go to Filters\>Render. Check out the different "flare"s you can make. 😛
