The Ubuntu Budgie team meets once a month to discuss recent updates and what’s coming next for Ubuntu Budgie. **Meeting notes from Ubuntu Budgie team meeting of 17 May 2026, 16:30 UTC.**

- Roadmap to 26.10: @fossfreedom prepared a tentative [Roadmap to Ubuntu Budgie 26.10](https://discourse.ubuntubudgie.org/t/roadmap-to-ubuntu-budgie-26-10/8546) and would like team members to have a look at it, comment and prioritize items.
- @ilvipero Is adding items to the new merchandise store. Once completed, vouchers for wallpaper contest winners will be created.
- @GrindamN Asks about the future of Budgie apps, Qt and GTK.
- @ilvipero is looking at an old project to backup and restore budgie settings, and would like to create a small gui app. @fossfreedom recommends Qt6 and package as a .deb.

Thanks all that managed to attend the monthly team meeting. **Next Ubuntu Budgie team meeting 21 June 2026, 16:30 UTC.**
