Hi this is my first time using budgie and usually like to customize the desktop. Would anyone mind refer to a suitable guide for customization? I usually watch linuxscoop videos on youtube but that channel doesn’t seem to have any guide for budgie. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

first things first :
⋅ launch « Budgie Welcome » which offers some hints, tips and tricks, then
⋅ look for « Budgie Desktop Settings ».

From these 2 default places you’ll be able to change many things ( desktop layout, panels, applets, behavior, icons, fonts and so on… )

And maybe feed your inspiration - or show your own there :

> Hi everyone, Are you enjoying your Ubuntu Budgie desktop? Want to share your desktop config with other users or show it off to others? Then this thread is right place for you. You can write what icons and theme you are using as well the wallpaper, if it is freely available, for other users that may be interested to emulate what you’ve done. Looking forward to seeing what you’ve done with you Ubuntu Budgie desktops slight_smile
