Hi,
is there a way in budgie to receive files form devices such as android phones via bluetooth. I installed the package gnome-user-share but it does not seem to work in budgie. I also found the Personal File Sharing app, but it does not start when I double-click on it.

odd. I just clicked on the bluetooth icon in the panel and chose Bluetooth Settings.
I then paired my laptop with my phone.
Using the same bluetooth icon I sent a file to my phone.
From my phone I sent a picture to my computer - a notification appeared saying the file was received and the file appeared in my Downloads folder.
something is wrong with your system. The system must ask you wheter you want to accept the file or not. I solved my problem by installing blueman.
