Problem with mouse , pad after upgrading from 22.04 to 24.04

Hi,
I encountered a mouse stuck problem after installing Ubuntu 24.04 Budgie from Budgie 23.10 Mantic.
I reinstalled 23.10 - in dual boot (alongside 24.04) which I am using at the moment - and no mouse problems.

I rebooted to 24.O4 and again had a mouse problem.

What bothers me is that I had the same problem after upgrading Linux Mint to version 22!

So I think there is a bug somewhere that appears during the version upgrade…

What if the problem is simply Ubuntu 24.04 (shared with Mint 22) regarding kernel version?
Try a new install of Ubuntu 24.04 to check this.
You can also try to boot on a different version of the kernel using the advanced options.
