22.10 : panels always have a shadow?

and why not after all but I wonder why the difference between 20.04 and 22.10 ?
Same theme ( vimix-dark-ruby ) with the same local modification to get transparent panels.

20.04 ( and same in 22.04 ) :

22.10 :

I prefer the no-shadow version but it’s not bad with shadow, I just wonder how to get rid of shadows, if possible.

There is an option to turn off the shadow for each panel, is this what you are looking for?
