So yes - once UB 27.04 hits the streets next April, the aim is to get this into our backports-budgie PPA. It is already in our wayland-test PPA (treat this as unstable) - Budgie Panel fails to expand to full width on Primary Monitor in Wayland (Labwc) - #2 by fossfreedom

In terms of 26.04 - and assuming gemini’s AI isn’t hallucinating … wayfire has a plugin called shortcuts-inhibit which you can enable in your wayfire.ini - this apparently supports the keyboard-shortcut-inhibit-unstable-v1 protocol that input leap requires.
Spoiler alert - as part of the 26.10 release notes available sometime this week I’ll be showing how to run budgie on wayfire … and this is backported to 26.04 as well.
