here is Ubuntu-Budgie 18.04. I have many users on the same machine. I did not find so far a way to switch from one user to another, without totally ending session ?
Is there an option somewhere to display other users in session-applet ?
lock your screen and choose the switch user option.

One click to lock screen + another one to change user → showing users in applet may save one click ?
