It would be nice to have an Jabber or Matrix community chat. Much cooler than a Discourse forum.

The only question I have is the 24x7 cover. Need a minimum of - say - 8 people to cover all time-zones.
Difficult I would suggest to get active volunteers to commit for the long term.
I guess many people would be down to act as an moderator.

It would be nice to have a discord, the only posable issue i see coming form it is reporting errors or general query, these may get lost in conversation and will not be reported here for others to see?

The issue I have is the expectation of the community. The channel will not have myself or anybody from the team as members/contributors.
This will not be a support route.
Any chat channel must have 24×7 coverage so what team of people will manage to cover this?

@codic unofficial? As in a fan group type of thing? No affiliations or resposabily from owners, but an aprestion of the platform, swapping ideas and configs or general Linux chat could be interesting.
