Desktop Weather Applet SLOW. Can't configure city

For some reason the cities file from which the search works is not being downloaded.

This will need to be fixes. In the interim you can install the cities file as per

…Could you copy this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gedbd59bnk05nug/cities.txt?dl=0 to ~/.config/budgie-extras/weathershow? Then restart (-add) the applet. No clue why you get that error, only thing I can imagine is a permissions error or something like that, but let’s see!
