When I go to Users at the settings, no option appears. Am I missing something here?

My understanding is that fingerprint settings and authentication is only available if the login manager supports fingerprint authentication.
This is certainly possible with GDM3 - but I’m doubtful anyone has done the work to enable fingerprint authentication with lightdm i.e. the login manager that most ubuntu flavours use with the exception of kubuntu and Ubuntu itself.
