I seem to have reached my max post for today. So I will edit this post with updates. I have just tested it.
TV off doesn’t matter, but what I did found out is that the script doesn’t take into account the vertical position. That’s why it got placed so strange.
Now that my left monitor is horizontal, the actual problem arose, the script always centers to monitor 1. But it should center on the active monitor screen. Or where the window is located if the script works across monitors.
*Edit: By shuffler you mean the one I have been using so far with the grid? The one by default in Budgie? The shufflers works fine across both monitors!
**Edit: I just tested it and it works perfectly! This is what I was looking for! You truly made my day and weeks and years. This script will have many backups haha!
***This is donate worthy. Many thanks for your time and effort.
Thanks for the small update. It indeeds feels better if the main window stays focused. I am loving it!
No, indeed I mean real monitors, connected to real boxes. If shuffler works fine, I must have made a mistake in the outtake. Will edit it with a multi monitor setup.
@Sojiro84 Yep, found it. Silly mistake; didn’t include screen offset in window position calculation. Should work now, tested it with totally misaligned screens.
Since I can post again, I wanted to say thanks one more time for taking the time for making the script. It has been most helpful. Pleasure to use Budgie this way.
