I checked the sound setting there supposed to be sound in.

Anyone have same issue and can fix this ? Thank you

Are you trying to route sound from Line In through the speakers, or do you just want to hook up a pair of speakers? Line In is meant for recording audio, Skype calls, etc. but there is a way to route Line In through the speakers if that’s what you’re looking to do. If you just want to hook up speakers, you should connect them either to Headphones or Line Out.

Yes I want to route the sound from line-in to the out speaker so I can hear the sound.

" If you just want to hook up speakers, you should connect them either to Headphones or Line Out."
What and how do you mean ? Do you mean that I must connect the cable to line out ? Thanks

line-in is for a microphone i.e. to record sound

line-out is for a headphone or speakers.

Why would you be trying to play sound through a microphone socket?

Oh. My speaker is already connect with the line-out. What I want to do is to make the sound to the line-in go to the line out -

Sound -> Line in -> Line out -> Speaker

There is sound to the line in but the sound is not coming out from the speaker in my case

you’ll need to use a loopback device to do this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/211136/get-the-audio-from-line-in-to-output-to-the-speaker
