For all of us who don’t like snap on ubuntu it would be great to have an alternative way to install budgie applets.

All applets can be installed via the command line.
sudo apt install budgie-
Then press the tab key to list all the package names
You can also add the backported ppa for more applets
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntubudgie/backports

Not a single one of our applets are a snap. They are installed via the traditional methods via our PPAs.
