Software Updater Ubuntu Budgie 24.04.3 LTS

Hello,

I have been opening the software updater (GUI) for over a month, and I always get the same message: the software on this computer is already up to date.

The same thing happens if I run:

.$ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

I can’t get anything to update, and it’s been like this for over a month or more. What’s going on? What can I do to get my system to update?

I’m using Ubuntu Budgie 24.04.3 LTS

In your software sources make sure the first 4 tick-boxes are ticked.

On the Other Software tab make sure the security updates is also ticked

Close and do another update. It should then pick up changes

I have done so, I rebooted but nothing changed.

Yes, it worked this time.

Now the window appears with all the software that is going to be updated.

I updated everything, restarted, and now everything is working as before.
