The calendar applet forked repo has not been updated for a long time with the original repo
The version is the important part - the version we have is the recommended release version from the original repo.
But that is very outdated almost two years old and if the current update is stable why can’t we use it.
The current upstream release is 5.2 https://github.com/danielpinto8zz6/budgie-calendar-applet/releases
That is what we are using.
There has been 6 commits since then. If you want to use those commits please encourage upstream to release v5.3 and then we can backport that. Until then, we’ll keep to the latest recommended version from upstream v5.2
