Recently I’ve installed Ubuntu Budgie 18.04.2 and after logging in I am able to use the system for only around 30s to 1 min, then the screen freezes. I am running a i7-6700k with an Nvidia 1070 GPU and 16 DDR4 ram memory. Also, dual boot.
What I’ve already done:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo ubuntu-drivers devices
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-418
sudo reboot
The necessary drivers should be installed, but the screen still keeps freezing.
