I’m live booting the recently released Ubuntu Budgie 26.04 ahead of upgrading my current install. I’ve added the icon task list applet to the budgie panel.
When I drag an application icon over the task list to pin it, the budgie panel disappears. Pressing the super key displays the budgie panel again. The budgie panel is configured to never hide.
this is one case where someone who has this issue that has to dig into the code to resolve themselves.
At the very minimum debug symbols need to be installed and the crash file needs to be analysed with a full bscktrace to at least see where in the code it is crashing.
