Can you install ubuntu Budgie on an amd gpu?

I tried it a while ago, and it didnt work. it’s an rx290

depends on when you tried. The updated graphics stack and kernel landed mid March for 18.04

So its worth seeing if a live session runs up correctly.

Even if it does’t, you still should file a bug report on launchpad.net otherwise the graphics devs will not know that there is a specific issue with your GPU.
