Display Scaling Issue Screen stuck at 200%

After the distro installation, everything was good except the screen, it was too tiny for my eyes to read anything. I tried to increase the scale, found out that it can only be selected as 100% or 200%. Both of them is not convenient at all. Opting for something in between results in choosing optional scaling which becomes extremely laggy. The problem worsened when, as you can see in the screenshot, even if I choose 100% scale, the screen and and every panel, windows are acting as 200%. I rebooted multiple times. But issue is persistent.

Is there any fix? i was really falling in love with budgie until this and the Onboard keyboard glitch happened. No fix means I gotta move to another distro sadly.

Hi @mustahids1

I, too, have the eyes of a mole.

Rather than fractional scaling, I’ve found my solution in “Budgie Desktop Settings”, playing with font type, font size and text scaling:

And I’m happy with it overall, even if some of the windows aren’t elastic.
