Fractional scaling 125%, but lock screen 200%

No change unfortunately. I did discover how to login though.
When locked, all I see is my wallpaper and a very big cursor. No login box.
Now hit ESC followed by my password and ENTER logs me in, stealth mode.

Just to confirm I do have the new package: I added the ppa, updated my machine and rebooted. Result:

ah well… worth a try. Do purge the PPA. I’ll trash it in the next few days.
