Hello everyone, I have a problem I installed a graphical environment to test, gnome vanilla on my ubuntu Budgie, I did the tests I wanted and uninstalled it, but I ended up uninstalling ubuntu-desktop, now it doesn’t restart, it just appears a message saying - A start job is running for hold untill reboot process finishes up.
how can i solve this and sorry my english i am not fluent lol
thanks
Hi and welcome!
Are you saying that budgie-desktop no longer starts?
Thank you,
yes it does not restart it keeps loading and when i press f2 to see the processes the message that i posted above appears.
A start job is running for hold untill reboot process finishes up.
Sounds like you have uninstalled a lot of critical packages.
My recommendation is to boot with a live USB - save what you need to another drive and then reinstall from scratch.
yes, I think I will do that.
