I am lost how do you get budgie started?

I have a chromebook which appears to require some special startup for budgie.
So what have you tried so far? Step by step instructions please.
Any error messages? Screenshot of what you are seeing?
Startbudgie, budgie and I see nothing but black screen. I did not think it would be this hard to accomplish,
There isnt a command called startbudgie or budgie.
Step back slightly. So what instructions have you used to install ubuntu or ubuntu budgie?
