Icon Tasklist Applet Window Grouping

Hello!
According to the comments, the new version of Icon Tasklist applet support windows grouping:

Will this update be availible to 18.04 budgie users and when it can be expected?
If not, is it possible to update it by hand?

It is merged into main repo.

Yes it will be backported to 18.04 and be made available either as a SRU to 18.04 or via our backports ppa.

There are a number of issues on the upstream tracker related to this new feature which I am monitoring at the moment. I’m sure you are agree that we shouldn’t rush to backports until key issues are first resolved … or at least we understand the scope and impact.
