New Brother installed and recognised, not printing at all

Ubuntu 19.04/Budgie immediately recognised my Brother MFC-L2750DW but the printer does not respond to anything.
Then I installed the Brother with the Installer Tool from Brother: no difference.
Then I looked at the .deb printer file of Brother and there are installation notes. Things you have to do before installing.
Quite dumb these actions are not done by the Installer Tool and they are hidden on the Brother website.

I did everything in the installer notes and installed the .deb file: no difference!

The printer works out of the box on both Windows and a Macbook pro.
How can I get it to work on Ubuntu 19.04?

I found log files but the errors are mostly about things that “already exist”…

This is a generic question that will apply to all ubuntu flavours.

As such I would recommend posting on the regular all ubuntu forums such as askubuntu.com and/or ubuntuforums.org

I switched from HP inner printer to a basic Brother Laser. Getting it to work took a bit of time. It did require their drivers and setting up the CUPS or LP process was a struggle. When finished I have two printers shown in Printers. Be sure you test to find out which one works.
