I’d like to ask if the issue of the touchpad gesture is solved yet? In my case the right-click-button can’t be done yet.

Sounds like a hardware issue with either the kernel or libinput. Suggest file a bug report

I have a new swift laptop. Right click is achieved by tapping on bottom right side with two fingers.
Enabled one finger right click with gnome tweaks.
Ah. Good point. Yeah. Forgot that more modern laptops use two finger tap for a right click.
