I have taken the plunge and now have UB 18.10 installed on all my laptops (replacing ubuntu and xubuntu 18.04), including my dev system with LAMP installed. I am very pleased with the aesthetics and functionality of the Budgie desktop.
Hats off to the UB Team for producing a polished product.
