HP Probook 430 G6, Ubuntu Budgie 20.10
There are several different errors at boot shown via journalctl. Just wondering if any one of them is worth to report to Ubuntu or if I can safely ignore them?
One error I get on every device (laptops) after installing Ubuntu Budgie: the “initramfs decoding failed” error and to get rid of it I do: sudo nano /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf, change COMPRESS=lz4 to COMPRESS=gzip and do sudo update-initramfs -u.
I am thinking of adding this to my post-setup script. But I would like to understand why it is set to lz4? It is an ugly one because it is just readable during boot.
The other red errors are not shown during boot. That is why I am not troubled but curious what I can do about them.
