Workspace Overview Not Working

I have added the Workspace Overview applet to the Top Bar, but it won’t let me add another workspace, nor switch to another workspace. I also can’t do it via the keyboard commands either.

Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions on how to switch workspaces?

Hi Kan, I am curious to the output of:

gsettings get org.gnome.mutter dynamic-workspaces

and:

gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences num-workspaces

Here is what I get;

gsettings get org.gnome.mutter dynamic-workspaces = true

gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences num-workspaces = 14

Are those settings correct?

Aha, could you run: gsettings set org.gnome.mutter dynamic-workspaces false and try again?

That worked!! Thank you so much. Now I can hide my solitaire game again from prying co-workers. :wink: :laughing:
