Audio Interface disconnects and reconnects repeatedly

Hi there! I just switched to Ubuntu Budgie for the first time. Loving it! However, there is one annoying problem I have discovered. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB bus-powered audio interface, and it works flawlessly on every other flavor of Ubuntu I’ve used. However, since installing Budgie, it repeatedly disconnects and reconnects.

The only way I’ve managed to get it to stay connected is by leaving the Sound Settings panel open. I’m wondering if this is a power management issue? Or something else? Help!

Possibly. See if TLP is the cause since it may be too aggressive. Try purging that package and reboot.
