Hello ! Using Ubuntu Budgie on a laptop, 21.04 fully updated, working really well except for the screen brightness randomly flickering. You can see what I mean here: Brightness issue - Album on Imgur This is happening at any brightness level, and whether night light is enabled or not.
The graphics card is Mesa Intel HD Graphics 520 (SKL GT2)
I thought it may be an issue with automatic brightness trying too hard to adjust to ambient light, but I found that in Budgie, unlike standard Ubuntu, there’s nothing mentioning automatic brightness in Settings > Power. Is it somewhere else?
Or could it be something else causing this flickering? It doesn’t happen with other OS on the same laptop.
