On my Budgie 24.04 I have this message : software problem detected
What software is in cause ?
How to solve that ?

I don’t have the answer, @Marc_Driver, but I installed Ubuntu 24.04.4 on my neighbors’ computer — which is a little over ten years old — and they’re getting the same message.
On the other hand, there’s no such message on another neighbor’s older computer from the early 2010s.
I’m leaning toward a hardware compatibility issue with a specific component, but I’d love to hear an informed answer from someone else as well.
But the problem is certainly related to Ubuntu and not Ubuntu Budgie, and since it’s not a critical error, we’ll just have to live with it.
Press the report button will let you know which component is at issue.
Also look in /var/crash … the file or files in the folder will have the component at issue.
with the graphical issue do hit the send button. It will send the report to launchpad. This allows folks who monitor this to get a better view if the key areas that are causing issues.
