What is the best way to install powerline or an alternative so I can see my git branch/status such as stashed, number of changes/commits etc.?
I had it installed before I updated to 20.04 and it seems the upgrade made it not work anymore.
Could try this.
But it depends what shell you are using too. Assuming you stay with the default bash.
