F12 opening Tilix 18.04

Is there anyway to remove this? I tried disabling all shortcuts from the tilix preferences but it stills pops up when I press F12.

Menu - Keyboard - scroll to the bottom - there is the “Show/Hide Tilix Quake Console 2” option that maps F12 - just delete or reassign that keybinding.

Happening again after updating to 19.10, but can’t find the option in the keyboard list anymore?

Any suggestions?

Rebinding Alt+Q

Create a folder called ~/.local/share/budgie-extras-daemon copy the files tilix_alt.bde and tilix_f12.bde found in /usr/share/budgie-extras-daemon into your local folder that you created above. Edit the command you want in the .bde files that you want to bind the shortcuts with. Logout and login.

BTW - F12 will be removed from a keybinding for tilix in 20.04 - covered by this issue I have just raised.

Having the same problem on Budgie 19.10.

~/.local/share/budgie-extras-daemon copy the files tilix_alt.bde and tilix_f12.bde

I created mentioned files under ~/.local/share/budgie-extras-daemon , logged out, logged in and F12 key is still opening tilix. Seems that the files under /usr/share/budgie-extras-daemon are still being applied no matter what I do.

I ended up moving those tilix* files out of /usr/share/budgie-extras-daemon and this finally resulted in F12 being fee to use again. Weird.
