I’d like Budgie panel to show me what apps are running on the background. Discord or Mumble for example. Is that possible?
I am not aware of any applet that does that currently.
Seems like a fairly simple applet to create for anyone who wants a mini project todo.
As of discord, it is availabe in system tray when in background-process mode.
Ah. True true. I was thinking more along one applet to show processes running. But you are correct, some apps show an icon via the appindicator applet running in the panel.
Older apps may show themselves via the system tray applet if it was added to the panel
