How do I connect to the Internet on Ubuntu Budgie on a MacBook Pro?

I booted from the live USB but the only option there is wired ethernet. What do I do if I want to connect to wireless Wi-Fi?
Except this problem, Ubuntu Budgie is a wonderful Linux distro. It perfectly combines a modern look with a slight hint of the late 2000s style.
Thank y’all devs for making this amazing OS!

On my macbook pro 2012 i just need to install and make sure you tick the option to install wifi and other drivers. This ensures the broadcom drivers are installed during the whole process

Thanks. Will creating a partition in Disk Utility erase data?

Its likely. Best to-do a full backup first onto removable media.
