How to view video resolution in nautilus in list view

Hey, I just installed Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. And in the nautilus file explorer , I am not able to get the video resolution option. This extension called nautilus-columns can do that, but i am not able to install it , as PPA doesn’t have a release doc. so not safe.

My question is , is there any way you can view video resolution in list view.which is very basic feature, and seem to be working in 20 version of budgie desktop.
if it is not possible please help me manually install the nautlilus-column from git, which somehow doesn’t havbe a install.sh file

Think it is definitely a question that the wider ubuntu community can help with here - it isnt budgie specific per se.

suggest also ask on askubuntu.com as well as ubuntuforums.org

Believe me , I am trying a lot to find answers. If you can help me with how to install the extesnion manually, it would be great help, then I would write a blog for all , so others can take help too./

there is install file in debian foler, and main file in src folder.
but i can’t execute this install file

this is almost the most basic feature of a file explorer , which i believe was there in win xp explorer too. Shame we can’t ship nautilus in budgie with it.

the default file-manager in UB is nemo - nemo does have a similar extension with an installer file

How do i install it ?
On terminal

$ sudo apt-cache search nemo

nothing for media columns

Any help on that.
Thanks

git clone https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo-extensions.git

sudo apt-get install python3-setuptools

cd nemo-extesnions && cd nemo-media-columns

sudo python3 setup.py install --record files.txt

Ok, will; let you know what are the results.
Hopefully this should work

shit, this doesnt work too

It will only work in lunix mint, this is truly a downgrade from budgie 20. Atleast I was able to set this up in budgie. Dissappointment

tested on lunar

you need to install all the dependent packages as well

sudo apt install nemo-python python3-stopit gir1.2-gexiv2-0.10 python3-pymediainfo python3-pypdf2 gir1.2-xapp-1.0

you also need to compile the installed schemas

sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/

logout and login

then in the nemo menu (rightclick in the pathbar) - edit plugins ensure nemo media columns is enabled

Then in list columns you need to add the column image size
